It was bad enough for House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) to subpoena the phone records of businessman Lev Parnas and President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani and other political opponents, but when he released them in his impeachment report it was a stunning abuse of power. In the view of columnist Kimberly Strassel, Schiff’s move “trampled law and responsibility…it was a disgraceful breach of ethical and legal propriety.”

Donald Trump and his ardent backers like Devin Nunes are fast to scream "witch hunt" at every turn. But, after reviewing the facts, there is a different story brewing. 

Now that the FISA warrant is out, I have little doubt that Trump, Devin Nunes, Fox News and certain Republican lawmakers are cooking up narratives for political advantages, only. They surely don’t seek the truth.

For them, it's a matter of stirring the pot of falsehoods or be gobbled up with the facts.

President Trump insists that the FISA application supports his claims that the FBI and the DOJ have engaged in some nefarious actions against him. He and his loyalists have been accusing our intelligence community, the media, a few foreign intel services of Deep State. Arguably, now that everybody can read the FISA application, the four republican-appointed FISA judges should be included in the anti-Trump deceptions.

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey has finally been exposed. For years, his friends in the media have referred to him as a Republican. This has allowed them to legitimize their criticism of Donald Trump by claiming a Republican FBI Director was investigating him. Of course, in 2016, that narrative collapsed when Comey finally admitted in a congressional hearing that he was no longer a Republican.

Since then, Comey has made positive statements about President Barack Obama, exonerated Hillary Clinton despite evidence of criminal behavior and was ultimately fired by President Trump for his poor performance.

Today, we learn that the Robert Mueller forces are apparently sending his troops up to, if not, beyond the Trump red line. 

Despite threats of shutting down the special counsel operation, Mueller is on the march as he is reported to have issued subpoenas to the Trump Organization. So goes a real investigation, not the cowardly corrupt activity we saw led by the notoriously deceptive, Devin Nunes.

The Republican Majority who control the House Intelligence Committee has rendered a judgment and The New York Times reported it as follows: “‘The bottom line [is] the Russians did commit active measures against our election in ’16, and we think they will do that in the future,’ Mr. Conaway, said. But, he added, ‘We disagree with the narrative that they were trying to help Trump.’” Perish the thought!

What did U.S. Representative Devin Nunes know and when did he know it?

When the loyal soldier for President Donald Trump, Nunes, told the nation that the Democrats (DNC) and the Clinton campaign conspired with the FBI and the DOJ to obtain a search warrant and renewed warrants from the FISA court to surveil Carter Page for the purpose of hurting Trump, he put into the Congressional record and into the public debate, corrosive allegations of which he has not yet provided any proof.

The raging debate: Did the Nunes memo hurt the Democrats and the Russia investigation?  Or, did the Schiff memo undermine Congressman Devin Nunes's allegations and further erodie his own, the Republican House Intelligence and even the president's own credibility?
At issue:  Whether the FBI and the Justice Department (DOJ) properly educate the FISA court judges when they obtained and renewed the warrant on Carter Page?

Someone is awfully touchy about what Carter Page might have said on wiretaps and intercepts made by the FBI and Washington is taking sides, as it does in all things pertaining to Donald Trump.  Among the various assertions, in the alternative, are that the revelations about the surveillance of Page jeopardize national security; show impermissible bias against Trump by the parties requesting the warrant; and, reflect an overreach of U.S. intelligence, the least likely scenario of all. Page has been targeted before.

President Donald Trump says the media is FAKE NEWS and not reporting on major news stories hurtful to Democrats, such as missing FBI text messages.  Some Republican leaders and Fox News Network promote the “Deep State” is also a “Secret Society” of FBI agents planning to destroy the Trump presidency.  One Republican Senator states FBI members are meeting off-site to conspire some type of Trump overthrow.  Devin Nunes, the duty-bound head of the House Intelligence Committee has created a memo which almost guarantees the destruction of the FBI and Robert Mueller.  They all claim the end is near, Mueller is about to go.
