LSUTop-ranked LSU Tigers beat the Florida Gators, 41-11 in Death Valley in Baton Rouge.  Florida was ranked 17th-ranked.  The win  sent LSU’s record to  .  The loss was the Gator’s second against three losses.

U.S. Sen. Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., recommended Jolivette Brown for the position in a Nov. 2, 2010, letter to President Barack Obama.
