It’s getting “Curiouser and curiouser!” for sure. And, I’m absolutely believing that in this Alice and Wonderland world of Trump era politics that “we’re all mad here” already, so nothing should shock any of us, ever.
Still, I’m not quite sure how else to explain it.
Hillary Clinton is the gift that just keeps on giving to President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. She will not leave the political stage and continues to keep herself in the public eye. After completing a rather unsuccessful speaking tour with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, in which ticket prices were slashed dramatically to fill seats, Hillary Clinton decided to visit New Hampshire, the state with the first presidential primary in 2020.
Update:3:23 pm
The House Judiciary Committee has voted by party-line to hold Attorney Bill Barr in contempt of Congress. The vote occurred after the President of the United States Donald Trump has declared the entire Mueller report under executive prvilege. The vote was 24-16, with the ayes in favor of contempt.
Original article below:
The eyes of the nation are upon the House Judiciary Committee as the members debate over whether to find Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt of Congress..
Today, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced that President Donald Trump has declared executive privilege over the entire Mueller report. This act was taken as a pre-emptive strike against the House Democrats in their efforts to investigate President Trump and to request evidence that they arguably are not entitled..
While President Donald Trump is producing tremendous results for the United States economy, some left-wing analysts expect him to actually lose the 2020 election. According to polls by liberal media outlets CNN and Morning Consult/Politico, former Vice President Joe Biden is comfortably ahead of the President in a hypothetical 2020 presidential match-up.
To the thick, and thin, of things, the first polls are out, putatively describing which Democrat has the best chance of beating President Donald Trump in 2020. Sleepy Joe Biden debuted at the top spot and immediately signaled that he wasn’t that guy when he announced Trump was an aberrational Republican. Since every member of the GOP, except Mitt Romney, has bent over backwards to accommodate Trump, Biden is wrong. They are all just like Trump.
America, as I know it, died yesterday right in front of our eyes when Attorney General Bill Barr displayed his fealty to the man who put him back into the national spotlight.
Also falling before our eyes were the lessons of Watergate.
What has kept this country above all other nations has been our judicial system integrity and our governmental checks and balances.
Barr mutilated those and his fellow pro-Donald Trump loyalists applauded at the bloody sight.
With the entry of creepy “Uncle Joe” Biden into the race for the White House, the total number of Democratic Party presidential candidates has reached 20, making it the largest field in history. Unfortunately, a massive number of candidates does not translate into great ideas on how to move the country forward. Most of the major proposals being offered by these presidential candidates are truly frightening and would propel the United States of America on the road toward socialism, which leads to economic ruin and societal devastation.

I have read the Meuller Report. I wanted to refrain from opining until I read it for myself. I deliberately turned away from all media coverage because I didn't want my.views contaminated by the pinditocracy. Here are my takes:
It has been quite a while since Americans have witnessed an honorable and effective Attorney General serving in that important position. The two Attorneys General during the Obama administration were hopelessly partisan and extremely protective of the President.
Eric Holder famously claimed that he was “the President’s wing-man” who was “there with my boy.” Obviously, he worked non-stop to protect the President from any legal trouble and congressional investigations. Whether it was Operation Fast and Furious, the IRS Tea Party abuse scandal or the Benghazi terrorist attack, Attorney General Holder was insistent on shielding Barack Obama from any trouble. He was so committed to that goal that Holder became the first U.S. Attorney General to be held in Contempt of Congress for refusing to release documents related to the Fast and Furious investigation.
Folks, is it over, yet?
I mean, is it safe to come out and opine without being slammed as a hater or a Trump lover?
Has the Mueller report settled anything? Is President Donald Trump truly exoneraed as he claims or will Robert Mueller's future testimony along with Attorney General Bill Barr's congressional hearing shed more darkness than light?
I don't know.
What I do know however is this-- the world will go on, Americans will continue to hate one another over Trump. Names will continued to be called and probably nobody's mind will have changed, regardless of facts presented.
Democrats will insist upon getting to the truth. Republicans will claim the Dems are only in it to get at Trump as they promote hearings on the investigators.
As the Media Research Center (MRC) has identified numerous times in recent studies, the mainstream news media is hopelessly liberal. For example, the MRC has discovered that the broadcast news programs produce content about President Trump that is 90-95% negative.
Even more liberal than the broadcast news programs are the cable news networks such as CNN and MSNBC. These networks use their broadcast platforms to mercilessly criticize the President’s agenda. Thus, it should come as no surprise that this liberal monolith would create an opening for a conservative alternative. It is why Fox News has been so successful since its founding in 1996. It is the reason why Fox News leads in the cable ratings. It is also why so many talk radio shows are popular.

Okay, this is going to bring out all the foaming-at-the-mouth Trump supporters. But go ahead, give it your best shot. (a) I am used to your blind, hear-no-evil, see-no-evil, speak-no-evil unwavering devotion to anyone who speaks the same hate-filled “all-hat-and-no-cattle” rhetoric as you and (b) I don’t really care because I would rather stand up for decency, honesty, and respectability than to curry favor with any of you.
Having said that, I can now turn my attention to Mr. Hominy and grits, Mr. syrup for brains, Mr. Hypocrisy himself, aka Louisiana’s junior senator John Neely Kennedy, for his latest sound bite for the TV cameras.
According to Morning Consult, President Donald Trump's approval in each state show the net approval down double digits in key 2016 states since inauguration although GOP voters back him overwhelmingly. However, the survey conflicts somewhat with a just-released Rasmussen Poll, a conservative poll that has determined that Trump has just tied his highest favorable since inauguration nationally, with 51-47 percent. This would be a climb of 4 percent since mid-March. Overall, the Real Clear Politics poll average stands at 44 percent.
It should surprise no one that in the radicalized Democratic Party of 2019, disgraced Reverend Al Sharpton is a major power-broker. His influence has been on display this week as many of the major Democratic Party presidential candidates attended a convention sponsored by the National Action Network, a “civil rights” organization founded by Sharpton.
