Is Donald going dotard or self-destructive?
Donald Trump against the nutty dictators, John McCain and the world has now become Donald Trump vs. nutty dictators, John McCain, the world plus now--the NFL and the NBA along, of course, with Hollywood?.
The "Ghost of Obamacare Repeal Failures of the Past" is returning, maybe.
Today, the long-respected Republican voice of the US Senate John McCauin of Arizona, has just delivered a significant blow to the latest attempt to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act and what might be a slight to his best friend, Lindsey Graham, one of the authors of the Graham Cassidy bill.
For the first eight months of his presidency, Donald Trump has been continually thwarted by a combination of the left wing media, the “deep state” bureaucracy, the Democrats and the establishment Republicans. On his own, President Trump has made dramatic and positive executive orders, but his legislative agenda has been disappointing due to the powerful forces arrayed against him.
Describing the Yalta Conference, FDR once said, “It is permitted in time of great danger to walk with the devil until you have crossed the bridge.” Held from February 4-11, 1945, the conference was convened by Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin to wrap up WWII in Europe. Almost from the start, Stalin ignored the agreement as he expanded Soviet influence over Eastern and Western Europe, precipitating a chillier kind of war.
One could expect that the Emmy’s would shoot at Hollywood’s favorite target Donald Trump, last night. But, did anyone anticipate that one of the President’s top protagonists would shoot at himself during the popular television show? That’s what essentially occurred Sunday night when former Press Secretary-interim Communications Director, played a cameo role as Saturday Night Live’s Melissa McCarthy, who shot to TV fame playing, of course, Spicer.
In a hectic world, millions of Americans enjoy the pastime of watching football on the weekends. It is a nice distraction from the pressures of everyday life. Unfortunately, it is becoming more difficult to just enjoy a game any longer as, sadly, politics has entered the world of sports in a big way. This season, NFL players are continuing to protest police brutality and racial discrimination by sitting, knelling or giving a “black power” salute during the National Anthem. This has infuriated patriotic Americans who view these protests as disrespectful toward their country. It is no doubt a contributing factor toward the declining ratings of the NFL this season.
“Progress Again!” Donald Trump can have the success he craves, and breach the mega-chasm of civil division afflicting the country if he becomes a Democrat. Yabba, dabba do! It’s back to James Comey is a liar according to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Press Secretary. “He lied,” she averred Monday, and claimed there’s new information that supports Comey’s firing as FBI Director. Brand new stuff! Can’t wait! Comey’s alleged dishonesty when he famously appeared before Congress to discuss his firing, Sanders said, was a matter for DOJ to investigate. She’s just a tad late and a dollar short.
Next week, the country will have to deal with a hurricane disaster as well as a national disaster, the unveiling of Hillary Clinton's new book, What Happened. In the book, the former First Lady and Secretary of State blames a variety of culprits for her upset defeat. She is clearly a woman who is bitter and has not accepted her loss to a political novice, Donald Trump.
Hurricanes are wreaking havoc. The West is ablaze. Iceland is melting. Nature is in an uproar and Rick Perry still doesn’t believe in climate change. And, then, there’s Kim Jong Un threatening WWIII. In the meantime, in Washington, Donald Trump is making financial deals with Democrats as President Gen. John Kelly runs the White House like a Marine battalion. Through it all, Special Counsel Robert Mueller plods along, trudging through the muddy night like Diogenes seeking just one honest man.
Good news for President Donald Trump, the House of Representatives and for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Today, President Donald Trump through his Attorney General issued a statement calling for the termination of DACA but with a six month opportunity for Congress to pass legislation that could save the deportation of roughly 800,000 people.
Donald Trump and tropical storm Harvey, Comey, DACA, Moroso, Tucker Carlson—some of the real issues on twitter today, September 2. Watch the short video below for more information.
One tweet claims that Donald Trump is the world’s biggest hypocrite—since in the Art of the Deal, the tweet says, Trump states, “Being an atheist gives me an edge and every deal Christians are too moral for business”.
