hi ho 6

Hi-Ho!

As you grab your hat on the way out the door to work did you know?

The coronavirus, aka Covid-19, is a scheme to destroy the American economy, to bring down President Donald Trump and to install socialism as a body-politic.

Or, at least, that is what I have read on twitter, other social media and have heard on rush radio and the like.

As usual, Democrats will stop at nothing to blame President Trump for literally everything. With the world anxiously watching the spread of the coronavirus, the Democrats have decided that President Trump is responsible. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are blaming the President for not allocating enough money to combat the spread of the disease.

Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer believes the President’s response to this health threat has been weak and delayed and that it will result in his Katrina type of political disaster. For those of us who survived Hurricane Katrina, it is disgraceful for any politician to use such a tragedy to score political points. The deadly storm killed over 1,800 people, but it was a disaster that was man-made in many respects. The levees designed to protect New Orleans failed and 80% of the city flooded. It was a failure at all levels of government: local, state and national.

U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) was the lone Republican in Congress to vote against President Trump in the bogus impeachment hoax. Fortunately, no GOP members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted to approve the two articles of impeachment.

In the U.S. Senate, only Romney voted to convict and remove the President on one article of impeachment. Speaking to his fellow Senators and the nation on Wednesday, Romney said, “The grave question the Constitution tasks senators to answer is whether the President committed an act so extreme and egregious that it rises to the level of a ‘high crime and misdemeanor.' Yes, he did.”

Of course, 95% of Republicans disagree with Romney and his analysis is hopelessly skewed by his personal animosity toward the President. It is not an impeachable offense to make a “perfect” call to a fellow President asking him to help locate missing Democratic National Committee computer servers from the 2016 election and investigate the alleged corruption of a very powerful political family.

evil terror 2 3

There are no prominent Democrats today on the national scene who advocate tax cuts like former President John F. Kennedy. In addition, there are very few who are as pro-military as former U.S. Senator Henry “Scoop” Jackson (D-WA). Today, the party is filled with progressives, socialists and Trump hating members of the political establishment. One thing the entire party shares is an unrelenting hatred of the President.

impeach cocktail

The goal of the House Democratic Party leadership is to use the impeachment inquiry to destroy President Donald Trump. They hope to impeach him, followed by conviction and removal from the U.S. Senate. Otherwise, they believe he will be so politically damaged that he will resign before the next election. Ironically, the exact opposite political result is occurring.

Donald Trump is his own worse enemy.  The recent disclosure by the Washington whistleblower is another example of Mr. Trump not using his brain before he speaks.

Think about this.  In the 2016 election the Russians and maybe others interfered in our presidential election.  And now President Trump is accused of asking the Ukraine government to interfere in the 2020 presidential election.  If true how dumb is that?

says poll2 1

A new Morning Consult/politico poll emerged Wednesday morning with interesting results as it relates to a variety of issues--which party is  most trusted on healthcare, the Joe Biden factor, the evolution and support of the Mueller probe and other issues.

With President Donald Trump now planning to make healthcare reform a major 2020 campaign issue, as of today, with 19 months prior to election day, the voters trust the Democrats more than the Republicans on that vital issue.

Democrat's blue wave and Trump's scorched earth

scorch trump2 4

Now that the mid terms elections are over, just where exactly is this nation going under President Trump?

That’s what many wanted to know after the blue tsunami turned out to be more of a blue wave, something that the President’s ego could not take.

Instead, at the press conference, he spun, and weaved and deceived and he even almost claimed total victory.

At the time of this writing, we less than one hour away from US Senator Susan Collins of Maine telling us that she has decided to back Judge Kavanaugh which will tilt the Supreme Court to the right, most likely for the balance of my life time.

There is a sense of desperation in the halls of the Capitol for many Democrats. A thick blue cloud has fallen upon their hopes, choking them, possibly for decades to come.  The time for praying is over. It's time to pack up the rights for which they have fought and pack them up, for now. The bright days ahead for them will need to see another moment.

I have been silent on the issue as to whether I believe he should be disqualified on the basis of his politics. Despite what he claims in the Wall Street Journal last night when he said he will be independent, his behavior of the past few weeks and shown anything but. Susan Collins might cite his claims as a reason for her support, but, if she does, not many will believe her.

dem face 6Many years ago, Democrats were known for their staunch support of peaceful protests and our First Amendment rights guaranteeing free speech. Today, party activists have become intolerant, hateful and in too many cases violent.

It seems that almost every week a Trump administration official or supporter is being harassed by leftist protesters. It happened to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, Senior White House Policy Advisor Stephen Miller and former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. Of course, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was not allowed to eat dinner at the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Virginia because of her support for the President’s policies.
