After decades in the public eye, Hillary Clinton refuses to retire and ride off into the sunset. The woman who feels that the election was stolen from her is continuing to do interviews and make incendiary comments about President Trump.
Last night on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Clinton claimed that Republicans were trying to “rush” the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court. Of course, this overlooks how thorough the process has actually been. He has provided more documents than any other Supreme Court nominee in history. Kavanaugh has also submitted to 30 hours of Senate testimony, 65 meetings with Senators and answered 2,000 questions.
The recent news explosion of allegations of rape being made by a now-Stanford professor Christine Ford against the then teenager and now Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, is raging.
It’s another issue separating left from right, Trumpers from the Trump Derangement Syndrome crowd and pro-lifers versus pro-choicers. It has taken center stage. Move over drenched Carolinas. Take the bench for a while Paul Manafort.
During this age of Trump Derangement Syndrome, Democrats sink to new levels of lunacy every day.
As Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) encourages liberals to harass Trump administration officials and supporters, several crazed activists have gone too far. This week, a GOP office in Wyoming was set on fire by an arsonist, likely a far-left Democrat extremist.
It’s not pretty, but it’s powerful.
And more than anything else, it is far from being a witch-hunt.
By now, you good readers will realize I’m referring to the Mueller investigation and its most recent major win, the guilty plea and the cooperation agreement with former President Donald Trump campaign chairperson, Paul Manafort.
I have a confession to make. And President Trump is not going to like it. I’m a southern country lawyer. Darn proud of it. In the President’s words, I may be a “dumb southern country lawyer.” I just hope the President does not have a sneering contempt for all of us Louisiana lawyers who cut our teeth practicing law in the rural areas of the Bayou State.
“Any man who tries to excite class hatred, sectional hate, hate of creeds, any kind of hatred in our community, though he may affect to do it in the interest of the class he is addressing, is in the long run with absolute certainty that class's own worst enemy.” Theodore Roosevelt
President Donald Trump excites hate. He admits it and even may view it as an invigorating tonic. In the long run, however, Trump’s supporters who felt enough like outsiders to elect him risk something worse than being forgotten when the tables turn. They risk being shunned for failure to takes the president in hand. Our economy is good, but health and safety are measured by more than the Dow and American ideals transcend coin.

Re: Helpful Suggestions
President Trump, it has been a rough few weeks. The “Deep State” has literally thrown everything including the kitchen sink at you, but, thankfully, you are still standing.
MUTINY! The polygraph machines will be coming to the White House soon because the deep state, it’s been revealed, lurks in the shallow end of the president’s own pool where there’s no lifeguard. It’s plain that Donald Trump has lost control of his government. The latest evidence of this failure comes from an anonymous but, purportedly, highly placed official who wrote a New York Times op-ed that depicts the West Wing as a crazy town. Could’ve asked our allies, but that’s another story.
Do you wonder who “Anonymous” is?
“Anonymous,” as in the author of the recent New York Times op-ed that criticizes President Donald Trump while simultaneously claiming to work for him, in a very high place.
I know who it is.
Today, the White House, on full-court mode, has attacked the Democrats for what President Trump's administraton called, "an embarrassment". Here are the article passages it has promoted to the media and others and placed on its website:
More eloquent words than any found here best describe John McCain’s life, character, faith, and love of country. McCain’s America looked forward with optimism to being a better place, and if something was wrong no one man, alone, was capable of fixing it. That was the people’s job, all of us together, respectful of one another, even in the midst of raucous debate, searching to find what unites, rather than what divides. McCain lived a life of hope, eschewing despair even in the most despairing of circumstances. For that he was a great American.
While Donald Trump should get credit for continuing the President Obama US economic recovery and while he absolutely deserves credit for expanding it with deregulations and corporate tax cuts, the harm he is doing in other areas cannot be overstated.
In the past week, I have become even more convinced that he is not only very weak on crime but is creating more FAKE scandal for political purposes. Of course, I should also add to the mix his incredible inability to get beyond his own sense of self which was on full display this weekend until yesterday after war hero and extraordinary US Senator, John McCain, passed away.
In elections, Americans usually have an overriding issue on their minds: the economy. In 1992, for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, famed political consultant James Carville coined the phrase, “It’s the Economy Stupid!” to highlight their focus.
After the successful Desert Storm operation in the Persian Gulf, Americans were renewing their attention on the economy in 1992. In that election, the economy was in a tailspin and a recession was dampening the financial prospects for millions of Americans.
