According to a poll by Greg Rigamer, Desiree Charbonnet has a five point lead over her closest competitor LaToya Cantrell but 41% of those polled were undecided. The poll was commissioned by the Charbonnet campaign and the five point margin was within the same margin of error.

The two leading candidates for Mayor are currently Judge Desiree Charbonnet and Councilwoman LaToya Cantrell. Also in the top tier of candidates is Judge Michael Bagneris, who ran against current Mayor Mitch Landrieu, four years ago.
According to a poll commissioned by New Orleans Mayoral candidate Judge Desiree Charbonnet and just released by that campaign, she is leading all other contenders. The poll, conducted by Lake Research Partners claims that she leads LaToya Cantrell 22% to 21% with Judge Michael Bagneris with 9% followed by Frank Spurlock at 2% . It should be noted that the poll was conducted in late June.
