A go fund me campaign has been established for Tulane Professor Mia Bagneris, who was struck by a drunk driver Saturday night and is now battling severe injuries.
She had already undergone four surgeries between Saturday and Monday morning to deal with broken leg injuries, a shattered pelvis, internal bleeding and head injuries. Mia Bagneris was getting out of her car as she returned home. At that time, the drunken driver struck her.
She is the daughter of former New Orleans Mayoral candidate and Civil Court Judge Michael Bagneris.
According to NOLA.com, Christopher Lang was arrested in a crash that injured Ms. Bagneris.
