According to the website WalletHub.com, Louisiana’s top growth city is New Orleans which is ranked among all cities at the 168th position . It’s rank is based upon a “sociodemeographics” rank of 66 but a Jobs and Economy rank of 363.

Mayor Ollie Tyler’s administration’s proposed $150 million multi-use development along Cross Bayou, which was sprung on the city council and the public last week, has left a lot of unanswered questions.

The Citizens Advisory Committee, charged with making a recommendation about the future of the Confederate monument on the courthouse grounds, will hold its fourth and final public meeting Tuesday.
