The groundswell of Republican support for President Donald Trump is simply amazing. It seems to me that not only would Trump survive culpability if he shot someone on Fifth Avenue, but his loyalists “see-no-evil-anywhere” would insulate him even if he downed someone on Broadway, too.
Some call the passion and never-dying support for Trump by his ardents as a cult. Others simply point to his ability to feed the red meat needed to satisfy the angry right wing who has roamed the political wilderness, seemingly forever, without a leader. But, he’s now here and Trump is to be protected at all costs. In fact, religious activist Ralph Reed claims that evangelicals have a moral duty to support Donald Trump. Yep. A Moral duty.
It is time for the madman to say goodbye. It is not up to me, for I have no power over what the Republicans do. It is up to you, my Republican friends. Singularly, the Republican members of the House of Representatives but primarily, those in the Senate. Moreso, it is time for everyday Republicans (and major Trump supporter) to say, we are now seriously over the line of right. We have stepped solidly into wrong.
What strongly appears to be the FAKE Joe and Hunter Biden story needs to show real proof or stop.
That tale is being pushed by Trump’s attorney Rudy Guiliani, the President himself, members of their political party, Fox News and the right wing hate-media. Also, my own Congressman, the powerful Steve Scalise. They all claim they detest fake news yet on one of the major controversies in United States history, it seems to me, they are fake facts greatest purveyors.
By now, you know the narrative.
If there is anything to say about this Louisiana governor's race polls this year, they appear to be rather consistent compared to prior years in terms of the potential ceiling for Governor John Bel Edwards. The surveys that I have seen have put Edwards close to "but no cigar" getting the necessary 50% plus one vote to avoid what would likely be a brutal contest runoff.
Right about that.' Of course you haven't thought about that. Too busy trying to impeach the president! Too busy slapping subpoenas on Corey Lewandowski!"
“This is all politics, and the truth is it's a disservice to the American people.” -Corey Lewandowski September 18
"The Democrats Are Wrong About Executive Privilege for Lewandowski" Greg Jarrett
Based upon the just released poll conducted by Bernie Pinsonat Inc., John Bel Edwards appears to be able to prevent a nasty runoff but he's far from a shoe-in in his race against Republicans Congressman Ralph Abraham and businessman, Eddie Rispone. The poll indicates that with slightly more than one month left until election day, Edwards is at the cusp of victory, but not there. He needs one vote over fifty percent to deny a Republican in a one to one battle in a deep red GOP state. A runoff could be devastating for Edwards, a Democrat.
Also, Donald Trump appears to have some long coat-tails for those who want to ride them here in the upcoming Louisiana elections. His positive job ratings are 54% but his support remains through the roof among White Republican and White Independents.
There’s no surprise that President Donald Trump uses media as a punching bag. When he’s in some type of trouble, all he needs to do is hit them with an uppercut and tweet the simple words,” fake new”. It’s so predictable. It’s so sad.
It’s kinda like when little Johnny gets caught doing something bad. Instead of admitting, he blames little Joey.
I’m confused. Perhaps somebody can explain the commercial to me.
Last night, I saw for the first time, a Ralph Abraham campaign commercial that said something I found both shocking and curious. According to Abraham, as he looks directly and sincerely at the video cameras, the rigs are employing no one and current Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards is to be blamed.
The light of truth approaches slowly and perhaps surely in this era of Donald Trump.
The only way that the United States is going convince Donald Trump's base that the president himself is to be blamed for the daily, if not hourly criticisms lodged against him, is when members of the loyal royal forces openly admit they see the light.
The only chance that his ardent supporters publically distance themslves from his countless lies, distortions and falsities is when his pretenders begin to own up to their own truths. These are truths of which they might have known all along but have been unwilling to state so. These are truths that are so obvious, they blind the night. They require self-awareness and courage to concede.
Ever so slowly, we’ve seen stunning departures from the “Trump is always Reicht” compulsions and dogmas over these past spring and summer months.
A year and a half ago, according to a Bernie Pinsonat--Southern Media Opinion Research poll, John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, polled at a whopping 65 percent. Today, Pinsonat believes Edwards polls in the low 50’s.
Edwards is up for re-election against major candidates such as Congressman Ralph Abraham and multi-millionaire Eddie Rispone.
So, what gives? The Louisiana budget crises, for now, is a thing of the past. The last legislative session this spring was boring, meaning, it was successful. A storm just slammed Louisiana which emergencies normally help a governor show leadership during a crises. So, why would there be a drop of perhaps fifteen percent since last year?
