On Saturday, the Louisiana Center for Women and Government held its annual Hall Of Fame Weekend in which it inducted new honorees.
The Center, led by its Director, Laura Badeaux Ph.D., honored Dr. Alice Pecoraro, Adele Waddill Ransom and Suzanne Terrell at a ceremony on Saturday which followed a Patron Party on Friday. The Center also awarded Sandra Thompson-Herman with the Lifetime Achievement Award and bestowed Hoda Kotb with the Blue Ribbon Award.
Phyllis George was the keynote speaker.
The weekend's ceremony inspired all displaying the proof that Louisiana women and in America have made inroads into the halls of public service while instilling hope for further civic committments for women in the future.
