BATON ROUGE – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced appointments and/or reappointments to various state boards— Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, the Patient's Compensation Fund Oversight Board, the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board, the Louisiana State Board of Examiners in Dietetics and Nutrition and the Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

 The Governor’s office has provided the below information describing the appointments and/or reappointments:

Governor Package Bills Gaining Approval on the House Floor Today:

HB 143 by Rep. Lorusso – Provides 32 death benefits for the families of Louisiana National Guardsmen who have lost their lives and two disability benefits of Guardsmen who have been injured since September 11, 2001.

  • Approved by the LA House of Representatives today.
