Presidential historians will note that the re-election of President Donald Trump was not secured in November of 2020, but nine months earlier in February. In a span of two days, Democrats displayed to the country why their party should not be given political power.
As the nation gets ready for a presidential election, the Democratic Party is in total turmoil. Their 2020 presidential candidates are not exciting voters. There is no Bill Clinton or Barack Obama in the field to generate excitement. The only candidate to create any passion is U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT), practically an octogenarian.
The polls show Sanders leading in Iowa and New Hampshire and he is on the verge of overtaking former Vice President Joe Biden in the national polls. He is leading in fundraising and has the type of dedicated volunteers not found in other campaigns.
It’s only fair, for a moment, to laud President Donald Trump’s coup at killing Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi by U.S. forces and the good taste not to publish photos of officials reacting to the hit. It’s understandable if some people hesitate to utter the word “coup” because of how it’s used by Republicans to describe the impeachment inquiry being conducted in congress.
There he goes again.
Rudy Giuliani, who has turned into a gusher of embarrassment for lawyers, the City of New York and sometimes for his client, Donald Trump, has been known to say things that often-run counter to the Trump narrative.
He’s done it again. This, time, borrowing once again some Watergate parlance, outed by the "smoking tweet".
Bernie Sanders attempt to beat the clock hit midnight when the indefatigable campaigner suffered a heart attack. He’s vowed to trudge on, but the handwriting is on the wall. The last ailing man elected president was FDR, and there has yet to be anyone like him on the American stage.
It is time for the madman to say goodbye. It is not up to me, for I have no power over what the Republicans do. It is up to you, my Republican friends. Singularly, the Republican members of the House of Representatives but primarily, those in the Senate. Moreso, it is time for everyday Republicans (and major Trump supporter) to say, we are now seriously over the line of right. We have stepped solidly into wrong.
What strongly appears to be the FAKE Joe and Hunter Biden story needs to show real proof or stop.
That tale is being pushed by Trump’s attorney Rudy Guiliani, the President himself, members of their political party, Fox News and the right wing hate-media. Also, my own Congressman, the powerful Steve Scalise. They all claim they detest fake news yet on one of the major controversies in United States history, it seems to me, they are fake facts greatest purveyors.
By now, you know the narrative.
Ever since he burst upon the political scene, the political establishment has been targeting Donald Trump. First, they attempted to deny him the nomination, then they worked overtime to hand the election to Hillary Clinton. When he won the presidency, there was an effort to thwart his transition team, followed by the Russian hoax to end his administration.
On Friday, activists from around the world mobilized for “climate change” action. Protests were held in multiple countries drawing massive crowds. In New York City, over one million school children were given official permission to skip classes to attend climate change demonstrations.
Donald Trump has been like no other president in American history. To say he is unique would be an understatement. He is the first president to make extensive use of social media especially Twitter. His daily tweets are the talk of the daily news cycle.
In addition to his extensive use of Twitter, Donald Trump’s campaign rallies are just as much over the top as his tweets. His exaggeration of his accomplishments and his claims of the failures of prior presidents are hallmarks for news coverage and food for his followers. His legions of supporters love him. The left not so much. And those who consider themselves in the political middle are left perplexed and confused.
